I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Air Canada (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2016
Interview
Pretty long but much easier than I thought. Applied in March.
-phone interview
-language assessment a few days later
-face to face interview a week later
-group interview same day
-medical scheduled for the next two days right after my interview
-did the medical, haven't heard back from them yet.
I REALLY hope I hear from them! It's been a week and a half since my medical. Does anyone know if they at least let you know whether you got the job or not? It would be horrible to be waiting and you just never hear from them :/

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Air Canada (Calgary, AB) in Feb 2016
Interview
The interview process was long and tiresome. The online interview was okay and involved recording my responses, alternating between English and French, to prerecorded questions. This was followed a few days later by a phone interview assessing my proficiency in Spanish.
After this there was another brief online assessment.
By the time I had my interview it had been a full two months from my initial application.
The interview itself was a bit of a disappointment. In addition to the standard high school diploma I offered the interviewer my university transcripts...He took the diploma and returned the transcripts, it seems having an education didn't have any value to him.
It also seemed to me that the questions didn't relate to the position. They didn't ask how my experiences would make me a better flight attendant; rather, it just asked what they were.
After the interview I was not invited to attend the group interview [as I knew they were doing from reading the other reviews on this site], so I asked the interviewer if there was a group interview.
He responded by saying that, "The process isn't always the same and you can expect to be contacted soon to set up another interview."
A couple of weeks later I received an email stating that the airline had chosen to go with other candidates. I have the impression that he lied to me so I'd feel better.

Anybody got a call for a medical appt later? Does this happen?
