I had a phone interview on October 25th, the third recruiter sent me a link from email for having an online assessment. Two days after I received a call to make appointments for language assessment (English, Cantonese, Mandarin). I did Cantonese and Mandarin on 30th, and English on November 1st.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Air Canada (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied in Sep and received a call from TA last week. Completed 15 minutes pre-screening phone interview. Also completed online assessment and 3 language tests within a week. I'm still waiting for the result.
I applied online. I interviewed at Air Canada (Calgary, AB) in Nov 2016
Interview
I was contacted via phone & email for an over the phone interview which was booked for 15 minutes. I got a call promptly at that time, she started with simple questions (the basics: can you travel, do you have a passport, criminal record, etc) and followed up with some behavioral/situational questions (like about yourself, and what you would do with certain onboard situations). The interview took nearly 30 minutes and only 1 question was in French, she was really patient with me about it because I was honest that my French isn't fluent. I also speak other languages. After the interview, she booked me for 2 language tests (French which is standard and I'm pretty sure mandatory, and my second language because I told her I spoke business level) The follow up will be 20 minutes each. I do not know how many other interviews will follow she told me it was confidential and she couldn't reply. I used YouTube and this website to prepare for possible questions.
