Several steps interview: 1. Phone screen with HR 2. Phone interview with technical manager * one hour talk about experience, app architectures, Java/Kotlin language patterns and features 3. Onsite interview with several sessions: managers, developers, testers * no whiteboarding, mostly talks about experience, how to solve particular problems.

they called me for a face to face after the resume was shortlisted and it was for a contract based opportunity. the recruiter got in touch with me saying via linked inmail saying they are interested in my profile and want to have a face to face interview. when i went there, it was a very formal environment. clearly my resume showed i was a junior candidate. And she made it seem like they didnt know they have mentioned they wanted 3 to 5 years exp on the job listing. what was even worse is she told me i should not take contract based jobs and she started to assess me with my age. Why waste my time. i ve prepared for the interview the whole week and the weekend as well. It was a waste of time. They judge by your looks and age. not by the exp you had and what you are capable of. i was not even asked any further questions.
