Agoda Manager interview questions

At first I was very delighted as just 1 day after my application I was contacted and was asked if I could meet the Director leading the department in my current place of living (as he was on visit). I couldn't as I was on a business trip but just 2 days later I had a phone interview with the recruiter and 1 day later with the Director which went actually very well (at least so the in-interview feedback). 1 week later I learned that I am not progressing to the next stage and was left with zero clue why. No return message, nothing just a generic "thanks but no, maybe in the future". If this is how this company treats its employees, no wonder they have a high fluctuation.

The interview process comprises of several stages. It began with the Hiring Manager and the moved on to the Director and eventually to a potential colleague that you'd be working in parallel. The process was rather lengthy and it went on for more than 2 months. Please do not expect any kind of prompt response and also be prepared to be totally ignored when you ask for any update after waiting for a reasonable amount of time. Till date, after completing all the interview stages I have not received any conclusion to my application despite my attempts of reaching out to the recruiter on multiple occasions. It's going to be a very long wait and you would have to deal with the uncertainty. I think there's a lot to fix with the hiring process. In my case, just bear in mind that my initial application took place almost a year ago. It's pretty disappointing to be given the silent treatment after taking all the effort to attend the interviews on time. I might be the unfortunate one but again, not the first time from Agoda.
