Interview
Very focused on technical ability, abilities and experience outlined in the resume. Focused on hypothetical and problem solving questions, with an emphasis on critical thinking and decision making. They also analyzed your current abilities and your understanding on the spot.

Question 1
Given that you want to deploy a new driver update to a group of computers in the company, what should be the process in distributing the software.
Two months after applying, I received a generic email with no reply asking me to take a psychometric test. I've taken them before and passed them all but this one was the worst, asking you to select the first of 3 options that is most like you, then pick from the last two options what you would like to be. About 25% of the options just didn't fit. Then there was a time-based comprehension test, which was no problem. Over two months later, I got a generic email that they've gone with someone else. I get the huge company HR challenge but 4-5 months for a canned response and zero human interaction is a poor experience. Good luck Agoda.

About 20 3-choice questions about how do I see myself and how do others see me, where about 25% of the questions just don't fit.

Extremely harrowing process that starts with an aptitude test that will take 3 hrs to prep and 1 hr to attempt, 5 behavioural + case rounds with their 18-member strategy team (1 hr each with various designations - senior strategy manager, director, associate director x 2, HR round at the start). All in all, there was extreme miscommunication as to when rounds will be scheduled (This was done over a 3 month interview process) or who will be attending them - for example, my last round was randomly scheduled when I was informed before that the case round was the earlier last round. Finally, HR is evasive and doesn't reply to emails for such a mid-senior designation. There is also a take home case study that will easily take up 10-15 hours of your time and the discussion subsequent is a presentation.
All in all - this process took up 30+ hours of my time with 7+ levels of screening.

Agoda is easily the worst interview process that I have been a part of.

Too many case questions that could be interpreted in different ways. One of the associate directors was confrontational and it is tough to answer case questions in such a setting.
