Received an informal email from a hiring manager in Singapore. Emailed again and then postponed. Was sent a video link that was ignored....received a phone call. The person interviewing me was a director of product who was trying to be much smarter and insightful than he really was and it was super apparent. Bizarre culture -

"Tell me how this hypothetical scenario of adding a new product line would hurt our core business? "Two seconds later " I mean how would it show incremental growth to our core product line"

At first it was a phone interview . Just a normal interview , the HR mostly was asking about myself and what i know about the company and willing to share the information about the company . I pass the phone interview and proceed to the next one . There was writing and typing test . You have to write an email based on the scenario given . Unfortunately , i didnt pass the writing and typing test ( there was min score , 85% accuracy ) . If you didnt pass this two test , you wont get the face to face interview . I had to disagree that they had to evaluate someone based on the typing and writing because i believe the job require a lot of communication skill .

Interview
The personality and skills test is absolutely a nightmare and not relevant to the position - Take 3 hours to do it and the HR lady did not come back to me about it after 3 weeks - I had to chase her about it. I was expecting much more from Agoda to be honest. Anyway a better job will come.
