I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aerotek (Oakbrook Terrace, IL) in Apr 2010
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter from Aerotek to become a member of their team after speaking with one of them at a job fair at my school. First there was a phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes. It was mostly general questions about why you would be good at sales and what motivates you.
The next stage was to go into their office. First, I talked to one guy who asked me behavior questions for about 45 mins. Then another guy came in and grilled me about my strengths/weaknesses and questions of that nature. This was my first real face-to-face interview so I totally bombed but it was a well structured interview and if I had any kind of interview experience I would have done better.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (Chicago, IL) in May 2010
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who then scheduled me for a phone interview. After the phone interview, they contacted me within 2 days for an on-site interview. When I got to the site, I waited for about 30 minutes after my scheduled interview time. I then interviewed with 4 different Account Managers. The interview lasted almost 4 hours and seemed a bit unorganized. Things they look for are confidence, motivation to sell and make a lot of money. They told me the working hours are 7:30 am until 6 pm and sometimes longer. I was not offered the position, but was okay with that. I do not think I was the right fit.
