I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T
Interview
The entire process was fairly quick. It goes about as long as you want it to go. I started out with a phone interview that covered the basics of the program. That conversation was more about familiarizing me about the program and the potential process. About a week later, I received an email to complete an online personality assessment, and to wait for further instructions. I contacted my recruiter about three days after I did the assessment, where I was informed I qualified for the next stage. The next round in the process served as the typical webcam interview. It featured many typical questions: what are 3 strengths, when have you faced adversity, what has adversity taught you, etc. The final stage of the interview process was the most interesting, as it is a role-play with "potential" AT&T business customers. They change this part frequently so it's hard to prepare for it. Just be familiar with the basics of services and don't freak out. That's the key for this part of the process, demonstrate you can be calm under pressure.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T
Interview
3 interviews. First was an hour phone conversation that asked behavioral questions as well as questions about sales. Second was a Skype interview for me, that asked many of the same questions as the first, different recruiter and was also an hour long. Finally the third interview is case study presentation. I got my case study about a week before my interview, was able to prepare a sales presentation on the product, and then it was a role-play interview with one of the managers in the program.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The sales presentation was the most difficult because they have their own sales process that you don't know before going through the program
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2012
Interview
A series of phone interviews, 1 skype interview. Another skype interview as a mock sales pitch to the interviewee. I picked 1 of 2 topics they gave me, and presented my sales pitch on one of their products to the person interviewing me. After that, just a background check.
