I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ALTEN
Interview
Just a bunch of questions about Python and general coding. Nothing difficult. The process took just a week and they offer me the role eventually posticipating the start by a few weeks.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at ALTEN (Gothenburg) in Jul 2017
Interview
In the first part of the interview you go through your CV with a manager. He/She will probably ask you some basic work related questions just to see if you have a know-how in the field. He/She will also ask you what are your motives for moving to another city/country if you applied for a location outside your hometown.
For a software developer position, they asked me to solve basic programming language quizzes via some web portal. Quizzes are programming language specific and cove everything from basic "what does the program do" to more advanced questions. Anyway, it's not that hard but I've seen easier but also more work related tests.
Next you will have a short test review with the manager and then I was asked to do another interview with a team lead. Here, we went through my CV again but in less detail and I could ask specific work related questions. Both manager and team lead were open about all of the questions that I asked and willing to help and suggest possibilities.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at ALTEN (Bolonia) in Jun 2017
Interview
Very clear and well organized interview process before the client interview and during the first visit on the client. Recruiter asked technical (but general-knowledge) questions on the programming language and my past experience
