I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 3M (Murray, UT) in Sep 2011
Interview
Two phone and two in person. Good interview, great people, hiring manager very professional. The panel interview was very well organized, they cover a lot of ground and from different perspectives. They are good. The culture appeared to be open and great environment to work in. They describe the role and responsibilities very clearly and throughly which help me to know if I had a good fit.
This is the worst interview ever. the interviewer was very arrogant and thinks that he can learn everything about me just by looking at my resume. He did not ask any questions during the interview and was instead ask me if I have any questions. If I do not ask question it would be a complete silent. The interview was a complete waste of my time. I received rejection from 3M after a month but fortunately now I have 4 offers. I would not be pursuing any opportunities with 3M in the future

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at 3M (Murray, UT) in Mar 2013
Interview
I first got a phone call from the hiring manager. We talked for about 45 minutes. He then asked me to come in and meet for a second interview. I had a face to face interview with the hiring manager and 4 of the team leads. They had a lot of questions, some hard, but overall it was a good interview as it is expected to get asked technical questions. I then talked more with the hiring manager and was there for about 3 hours. At the end of the interview I pretty much knew an offer would be coming.
