401K Plan

"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

Insurance is a joke. You would be better off finding it on your own. 401k is average.

The benefit program is all encompassing, but tends to less that what tech workers and other aerospace area workers are accustomed to--low deductibles, spouse insurance paid, etc . It takes some getting used to as typical co pays and other features of traditional plans are not spelled out i.e. cost per doctor visit. How much is paid by insurance carrier is determined by the whim of underwriting. The bad news is you will pay more than normal with higher deductibles; the good news is, you will have insurance and in the rising cost of healthcare, that is a good thing.

Worst - varies by Business Unit and location, Best - comparable to competitors.
