"50% match up to 8%, plus 6% on top, for a grand total of 10%. This is outstanding and I do not know of anyone who tops that. If you make $100 and max out your 401k, you're putting away $28k a year."

Best thing is 401K matching & Capital Accumulation Fund. Worst thing is that health benefits could be better - recommend the corporation use the might of 110K employees to get a single benefits package at a great value.

When I worked for Lockheed Martin the benefits were great, however, I have heard it's all changed now so can't say how great or not it is now. We had good insurance, 401, personal time off, vacation, etc. It was a great company to work for.

At the time, it was pretty good. They did make a huge switch to putting more of the financial responsibilities onto the employee. They didn't seem to have any way to individualize the coverage for very healthy, young people vs older, unhealthy smokers.
