Twenty-five years ago, Insight Global was founded with a simple belief: with the right people, anything is possible. Like many companies, the early days of Insight Global saw humble beginnings. Founders Glenn Johnson and Scott Madden started the company in Glenn’s basement. Working on “borrowed” desks surrounded by bare walls, Glenn and Scott had a vision that this company would one day be the envy of the industry. Twenty-five years later, that vision remains. Today, that basement startup is a global talent and consulting company expected to reach $5.3B in revenue this year with a global workforce of more than 40,000 full-time and contracted employees across 40 countries. Not bad for a company built off hustle and grit.
Insight Global, an international talent and consulting company, announced today it has made investments in renewable energy with the installation of a rooftop solar energy system in Richmond, Virginia. The project has been operational since early spring of this year and is Insight Global’s first direct clean energy initiative in the company’s overall climate strategy.
Insight Global has earned the 2026 Training MVP Award from Training Magazine, recognizing its excellence and leadership in talent development. Where other organizations struggle to navigate constant disruption and evolving workforce demands, Insight Global continues to be a trailblazer in this space.

We are proud to announce that Insight Global donated over $180,000 to charity and placed 9,000 Consultants through its 5th annual giving campaign, Jobs & Joy. Through Jobs & Joy, for every 100th hire placed, both the new hire and their hiring manager have the opportunity to give back by selecting one of Insight Global’s eight highlighted charity partners to give a $1,000 donation made on their behalf.
We make workplace choices every day—how much prep you do for a meeting, which recommendation you’ll make to leadership, which direct report is ready for promotion. But as you build a career, there are some big fork-in-the-road moments that come along the way. One you’ll be faced with: Should I stay with this team or with this company, or should I leave and build my career elsewhere? In my 25+ years in the workforce, building my career from financial analyst to Chief Financial Officer at Insight Global, I’ve had plenty of “stay or go” moments. Let’s detail two of them, then we’ll talk about what I’ve learned when making these decisions.
