      -Ran like a one-man business. -Traditional. Lots of mundane things that can be automated. -Favouritism, nepotism and everyone has a group. -General Manager has full autonomy of decision making. -If you’re not in her good books, you’re in problem. She would pick on you, bully you, intimidate and insult you. 1Your whole life, growth, performance appraisal and everything in between at the hotel (Ibis Lagos Airport) is based how much you’re liked by the GM.

      The TEAM. :) The GM and the AM were helpful and open-minded, which is not typical in a workplace. The hotel is modern and stylish, and the area is easily accessible. Working hours are regular office hours. Shifts are covered pretty well. I had luck, and my bosses were generous and would make time to listen to you if needed. I would 100% recommend it.

      Cons

      My biggest issue was not with the work, but finding an apartment in the city. With the money I was making it was hard to have any savings.
