Horrible experience. Bad management from every level of seniority. Worked you like a dog and forced you take on additional shifts. Would constantly be working till 11pm at night, and then again starting at 7am next morning. Disgusting disregard for the poor people working there. Awful health and safety. Pay was crap. Very close to slavery. Forced to work 12 days in a row, due to their awful management of your days offs. Exhausted after you finish your shift, so you sleep, wake up again, and go back to work. No work life balance. Managers drinking on the job.

You are required to multi-task in many fields later on, such as the reception per se, but also reserves, food and beverage and night auditor all at once. Also, it is rare to promote from within. Also the manager sometimes are clueless to the well-being of its staff, mainly the front desk.
