Pros

Management committed to making it a good place to work, all the way to CEO. Collaborative environment with really good people.

Cons

Product line vision somewhat limited on consumer side. Company is a little bit stuck between being a tech company and a home goods/vacuum company.

Less than adequate

Pros

Great environment. Mostly friendly people. Good benefits. The company tries so hard to be like Google when it's just a pipe dream, trying to keep people on staff but everyone knows the reality of the situation.

Cons

Upper management has no direction. They are tryIng so hard to push out products that the integrity of the product is completely jeopardized. Things that don't work in BETA only months away from launch are still not fixed let alone acknowledged. A company which was once held as prestigious and innovative has turned into nothing but a shell of its former self. People who are so called managers sometimes don't even have anyone reporting to them, which kind of makes you think what are they managing? Their lifestyle? Their responsibility as a human being to show up for work? The company has turned into a revolving door. Those who are qualified quickly jump ship because they know this company is slowly becoming obsolete. They are dying for government contracts right now but aren't able to acquire any so their best bet is to sell their Roomba's. 25 years ago these were the things of the future, but nothing has changed. They outsource their pool products to companies you haven't even heard of and they just slap the irobot sticker on it so people will buy the product only to find out that it's a useless product. Since we don't make it, we can't troubleshoot what's wrong with the product. Therefore if something goes wrong we'll send you an email saying how "sorry" we are and that you need to ship it out to get it serviced because we have no idea what to do. People with certain titles should never even be considered for their position.
