Pros

Visual freedom Your Staff Discount There really isn't much good to say anymore about this company.

Cons

Wow...where do we start. After nearly 7 years with the company working at many different levels and seeing the perspective from both the co\prorate side and the boutique side there is no wonder this company is floundering right now. -The company has no identity. The styles change drastically (sometimes from season to season) and has caused many core customers to be alienated from francescas because of this. -The product quality is poor and fitment is TERRIBLE and inconsistent. They hired "fit models" and after this the fit of the clothing got even worse....explain that please -Pay is below average at all levels, especially at the corporate office. -Bonuses were cut drastically this year from BMRs and ABMS as were benefits. Bonuses below the ABM were cut altogether. -Make up your mind!!!!!! They send out huge visual directives then 2 weeks later they are unhappy with them and change them back. No payroll is given to support these corporate blunders. -No upward mobility anymore. They continue to hire upper management from outside the company. These people come in with no understanding of Francescas and the culture (that used to exist) and continue to be detrimental to the business. -They are growing too fast. They are doing this to appease Wall Street, without concern for their employees or their customers. -The culture that used to make this the place to work has DIED.....plain and simple. Expect to be belittled, abused and berated when you have done something incorrect (even the smallest thing). But turn around and do many amazing things and no one ever even recognizes it. --How about their first "marketing campaign" with Under the Gunn??? That was a huge disaster and they got completely hosed by the show in every way. They were used and abused and it was simply because they didn't have a clue what they were getting into and how much they would be involved.....or maybe it was all just to stroke the ego of their head buyer who has consistently made horribly buying choices and has no accountability to this. -It has been a downhill slide since they went public and will continue until they make some drastic changes and start to recognize who they are as a company and start to provide support to their employees. -They wanted to be one of the top 100 companies to work for in their home state of Texas but I doubt they will make it into the top 100,000 due to poor pay, instability, poor benefits, poor product quality, and overall lack of communication at all levels.

Pros

You are somewhat in control of your own merchandising. They send out guidelines, but you're in control. Cute clothing and gifts. Easy to sell.

Cons

Negativity at the DM level. And I'm not just talking about metrics. I mean like, regina george type of people. I started working in what was an already failing store. They simply WILL NOT hear any reasoning that holds them accountable. Turn over in this company is tremendous, from store level to regional. No benefits unless you are GM of store. Hourly pay with commission expectations.
