      You don’t get micromanaged because upper management doesn’t get paid enough to care

      Cons

      Low pay compared to other retailers. Seedy business deals, they don’t pay rent or vendors which leads to field employees getting yelled at.

      nothing, the company paid horrible and the working conditions were awful

      The location I worked at for a year and half, had no working AC or heat. The whole time. It would get as cold as it was outside inside the store. The heat was awful, I was sweating at work and working in a 96 degree environment. They refused to let us go home unless it reached 95 degrees inside the store. This company is awful and doesn’t care about their employees. It shouldn’t take a year and a half to fix the AC or heat.

      good coworkers make it bearable

      Pros

      Made great friendships with some coworkers and the job itself is simple enough. Straightforward retail work. Had opportunities to do hands on work with merchandising and displaying products alongside the assistant manager.

      Cons

      As many other corporate businesses, this one doesn't care for the in-store employees. Hours are cut yet work demands increase. Corporate is also very coddling of customers when they complain and employee's end up taking the blame every time. Never felt important to the company they very much treated us like worker bees.
