Having joined as a contractor initially I was very happy to make the move to a permanent role given I'd had the opportunity to experience the culture first hand. The big thing for me is the Orange Spirit, supportive and collaborative culture and an organisation that is maturing and always puts safety first.
Cons
There is lots to do - it is 'busyJet' and not easyJet from that perspective - and so it can take longer getting some things done just because people are not available. This is recognised though and judicious use of Teams/ Chat and face-to-face when on-site means it is manageable.
