      high growth industry collaborative, supportive, "do good" culture large challenges but similarly large opportunities

      Cons

      inertia of legacy business - auction was great but is not the future, yet is a drag rather than the backbone for the future too many hierarchical layers oveerly simplistic communication in managing an overly complex business

      Pros

      eBay is a large corporations that has a lot of resources to get the job done. There're often a multitude of projects in the pipeline and each is aimed to build a better e-Commerce experience for consumers. Everyone is focused to make a better eBay.

      Cons

      Each project requires a slow, tedious, and often a repetitive review process that bogs down workflow. Oftentimes, projects go in circles and things don't get resolved until the last minute.

      Pros

      With a great work atmosphere, there are various opportunities provided for individuals to shine and grow within their teams. Employee training is encouraged, and management makes every attempt to provide projects based on the type of work employees want to do. With the number of changes happening this year, senior management has been very communicative and responsive, which is great to see.

      Cons

      A better work-life balance atmosphere would be beneficial. Due to the large nature of the organization, decision making takes a long time as you have to go through a lot of red tape. Company seems to be more reactive than proactive, always trying to catch up with competition as opposed to setting trends.
