Messy

Pros

There’s a lot of opportunity to make good money here, and you have the ability to work in eBay offices in other countries, though it comes with a pay cut unless you are moving to the US.

Cons

This company is a bit of a mess. Their tech is old and poorly maintained. Their architecture in every area I’ve worked in has been a complete disaster. They try things, go through an org change, and drop all those things on the floor and start another thing. This happens over and over, which is largely why it’s such a mess. And no, not all tech companies are like this.

Pros

Ebay is still one of the most consistent and wide-reaching online marketplaces to sell collectibles. While costly for buyers, global shipping program allows you to ship internationally while protecting you as a seller.

Cons

Ebay's automated estimated delivery times displayed to buyers are often unrealistic and put undue pressure on sellers. This has also lead to many buyers abusing the returns process.
