      Great work-life balance. People are generally smart and nice to work with.

      Management always seem to change strategy. there is a lack of accountability within the company. Decisions take too long to be made in the company.

      Pros

      The people are nice..San Jose is a good city and the work is good. The company has a huge global presence and the website exists in many different countries in several different languages. Also, with the acquisition of Skype and PayPal, there is a lot more work that can be done to improve the current condition at eBay.

      Cons

      the company is on the decline and the stock prices are plunging. Some of the policies adopted by the company are not going down well with the users and thus the user base of eBay is falling.

      Pros

      There are no best reasons to work for eBay., except to make ends meet until something better comes along. If I could afford to quit, I would resign in a heartbeat. There are thousands of workers out there just like me who want a better workplace and who want to work for the eBay that used to exist.

      Cons

      Bad management decisions, poor morale, inadequate training, no foreseen potential for growth, not much potential for salary increase, potential layoffs, no job security, unfair treatment, prejudicial policies. eBay is nothing now compared to what it was 3 years ago, it was actually fun to work here then. Sad to say, but not so much anymore.
