Pros

eBay employees are always open to questions and to give a helping hand. San Jose site has an excellent onsite gym. Those trainers are great!

Cons

New managers need to learn how to be managers and be available to the folks that are reporting to them.

Pros

eBay is a good place to work - they strive to be a great place to work, but do not achieve that standard. Their benefits are good, their compensation is above average. You won't be too stressed and you'll be able to have a good work-life balance. HR has been working on leadership development.

Cons

eBay is too big. It even seems bigger than it is. It is filled with ex-consultants. If you work there, I would try to work inside on of the businesses. Also, be prepared for A LOT of Powerpoint - making slides is a critical skill.
