      Pros

      relatively up-to-date technology stack smart people flexible schedule good benefits unlimited vacations

      Cons

      no career growth and/or promotions engineers are underpaid constant ad-hoc development with many projects dropped in the middle lacking development culture

      Pros

      Somehow able to attract talented people, but they never make it to upper management.

      Cons

      CEO and upper management change direction so often (sometimes multiple times in the same day), nothing is ever done well or with any sort of wisdom. Expect bullying and fowl language from your boss alongside with a big heap of belittlement for any suggestion you make. In their eyes, any sort of planning or communication just slows things down.

      I take pride in the fact that many of our upper management here started off in entry level roles - our VP of Sales started off as a researcher, our VP of Researcher started off as a researcher as did all of our Directors and Senior Managers of Research, our VP and Chief of Staff of Marketing started off as an Event Marketing Manager, our Director of Marketing started off as an SEM manager, our Chief Revenue Officer started as an entry level sales rep (his first job out of college), our VP of Customer Success started off as an entry level sales person, and our VP of HR and Operations started as a researcher. It's a mischaracterization to say that talented people don't become part of upper management - in fact, talented people getting promoted INTO upper management is a hallmark of our company.

      The location is great, right in the middle of downtown Vancouver food is very accessible at any restaurant or food cart.

      Cons

      This company will straight up tell you everything that's great about, they won't tell you everything in the interview because they aren't allowed to disclose that. What they do I feel is illegal hacking into companies phone systems telling companies "im doing a research project" never felt right doing this job. They let people go without even a warning. I see the culture and would never want someone else working here l.
