Pros

The best DaaS in the game.

Cons

The lack of Salesforce automation has employees looking over endless reports to find leads that haven't been worked to death in the last six months. After making Salesforce automation recommendations my outbound number suddenly changed to one based in Jamaica. Only internal IT support has the edit permissions to do this. I was given an agreement to sign stating I would work over 70 hrs a week and give up my free time. If you have a family or like to take care of yourself this isn't the place for you.

Thank you for leaving us a quick review. By no means do we train our team to use dishonest sales tactics. Several things you stated are incorrect about our processes. SDRs have assigned accounts/categories and are expected to call 100 times a day on inbound and customers are called only 15 times across 45 days. There is no way that you were given any contract to sign for OT, giving up your free time, and having to work OT and not getting paid is not tolerated or condoned here. We've asked managers to be more intentional with how they are approving overtime. As an hourly non-exempt, you cannot work more than 9 hours per day unless you get approval for overtime. Gaining approval before taking overtime has always been a requirement. We are sorry that you could not thrive in our environment and wish you the best in your next career endeavor.

Pros

1. Currently, no pros team is under huge pressure. 2. All Pros and Benefits were stripped out from the team. 3. Shift, Cabs, and shift allowance were gone for most of the employees. 4. Best part of Pros is they threaten some of the employees they are going to strip their benefits in the name of performance.

Cons

After the recent recruitment of Managers and TLs, the team is under heavy pressure. All the benefits were stripped from employees and shifts were changed without team knowledge and he's giving orders to the team to obey for it. The senior manager doesn't care about employees and their opinions. He's behaving kind of a dictator. He doesn't care about the process and doesn't know the process and his goons as well. They don't know how the Product or Software company will work. They trying to bend the Zoominfo rule and policy for their own selfish. Trying to implement their BPO style of work. Zoominfo will give first preference to their employee and but now these goons implement all torturing kinds of work. Whatever we ask they will say cost-cutting, management decision and culture. The Senior Manager trying to cut the Indian team from the US management and trying to run it in BPO style and torturing employees. If no one looks into this issue soon most of the employees in the Data Research team will leave and it will become Zoominfo BPO and these goons will do typical worst Indian management. These guys are not fit for the organization and soon they will spoil Zoominfo reputation.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. As a growing team, we are bound to have challenges, but all our leaders and team members are receptive to feedback and we are ready to grow and get better together. We measure engagement monthly with pulse polls, and we have an annual engagement survey that we deploy to the whole organization that informs our yearly culture planning. From this survey, each manager is given an overview of their department-level results as well as coaching on how to both make improvements and leverage their strengths. Regarding benefits, Zoominfo provides the best in class benefits to its employees. There are changes happening always in those policies to keep up the parity between various teams and align to industry standards related to their job profiles. We aim to build high-functioning teams with empowered individuals who feel confident and supported in hitting their numbers. I’m disappointed that your experience is not positive. My door is always open to discuss any feedback. Please reach out to me if you have any additional thoughts on how we can do better. Venky Ramasubramanian, Vice President, Engineering and India lead

Pros

- I will say this is definitely a company where if you work hard, you will see promotions follow (to some degree) - Benefits are up to cultural standard - The amount of resources for learning is actually quite impressive. If you want to learn more about a product for your specific job role, you can find it, which is super helpful to gain an edge.

Cons

I won't get too carried away in this - but in the time that I have worked here I have noticed the insanely obvious resistance this company has to paying people a competitive base salary and or commission. (Management might respond to this review below trying to convince you all otherwise, but I'm telling you that it's simply not true.) ZoomInfo is laser focused on growing so much right now and I truly believe they are willing to forgo short term losses - like competitive salaries - to accomplish this goal. I broke into sales because I knew that this was a lucrative industry, and the allure of being in sales and putting up with high stress is that most accomplished sales companies like Stryker or Abbvie, pay handsomely for their teams. Traditionally, sales companies throw money left and right for over the top performance - ZoomInfo does NOT. This company doesn't give any Christmas bonuses, yearly bonuses, quarterly bonuses, nothing, zilch, nada, for their sales teams. At least not the ones I have been in so far. Which is WILD to me, is this not a large sales company? I have plenty of friends in similar positions at other companies and it's frustrating hearing them talk about all the additional lucrative bonuses they get for exceeding their targets - because it takes an approval from congress to get any significant kickback from this place, and even then it pales in comparison to what other corporations are handing out. Their salary & commission structure is nothing to run home to either comparatively. Time and time again I see job postings for other companies hiring SDR's who's base salary & commissions end up higher than my account manager salary + commissions. NICE LOL The way that I see it, this is a great place to break into the sales ecosystem - but once you have garnered the appropriate amount of experience, take your talents elsewhere. I guarantee you will make FAR more and will be better off. Although I'd love to, sadly I don't see this company as a place I'd ever retire....
