Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry to hear you felt quotas were unattainable. Coming into this year we actually lowered quotas in most segments after closely reviewing capacity, inbound volume, and AE headcount to help put teams in a position to earn and win. While market shifts can affect demand in ways we cannot fully control, we do account for ramp and performance when we set expectations and compensation. As our customer mix and market conditions evolve, we have to adjust our sales capacity and targets so we can serve customers effectively and stay competitive. I appreciate your candid feedback. – Steven Bryerton, ZoomInfo SVP of New Business Sales

Pros

Henry, the CEO, appears as a nice guy and a hard worker, but given my experience, he seems like a different guy behind the scenes.

Cons

ZoomInfo matched my salary with RSUs (restricted stock units) set to fully vest in 25 months. After 21 months, I transitioned to a new position thanks to a referral from an executive leader. Three months later, and after the third round of layoffs during my short time, my position was eliminated, and I received $0 of the RSUs from my offer letter, one month before I was fully vested. The only thing consistent at ZoomInfo is change. Given the consistent rounds of layoffs and executives ‘leaving’ the company, it honestly felt like your role could be eliminated at any time. There was a lack of quality people leaders, and most managers had serious trust issues with delegating work to individual contributors. This culture likely stems from an unrealistic goal of remaining 40% profitable as the company continues to grow. As soon as that goal is in jeopardy, they eliminate roles. Save yourself the time and avoid working for this company.

Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear about how your experience ended and understand why the timing of your role change feels frustrating. While we cannot discuss individual employment or equity decisions publicly, we take concerns about stability, leadership, and trust seriously. Your input has been noted and will be shared with our Leadership teams as we continue to evaluate how we support people through change. – Chad Herring, ZoomInfo CHRO
