*Management is disorganised and unprofessional
*rosters are published literally a day before the new month (late) and rosters are pretty much changed weekly. they will also change the roster without letting staff know and expect you to know when your shifts are even though they change it regularly.
*Casuals don't get to learn or do anything new. Every time I have asked to do something different or learn something new, I would get responses such as "Not today, we are short staffed or its too busy"
*The work is very repetitive, there are rarely any rotations. you are stuck in one zone for the entire shift. its even worse when they constantly put you in one zone shift after shift. and then make you feel like you should be grateful if they zone you in a different area.
*Management never appreciate the hard work, but as soon as you do something wrong, they will notice and tell you off.
*if management dont like you, you wont get any shifts, they wont even try to "improve you" or provide you with training and they wont give you a reason as to why you're not rostered on.
*the hours are long and tedious, especially when you do late night trading shifts.
*if you are late, they will tell you off, but its ok for managers to be late
*staff turnover is ridiculously high and they wonder why people are constantly quitting, maybe HR should focus on those reasons instead of constantly hiring new employees to replace old staff who are fed up and disgrunted.
*no staff discount
*the pay is average. no incentive to work on saturdays, as the pay is pretty much the same and its the busiest day too.
*customers are demanding
