      Pros

      Not much travel as most client engagements are local. Lots of teambuilding events at a local level (at least in smaller offices) to create strong sense of ZS community. Very smart and client-focused company.

      Cons

      Hours can be long. Some managers and partners are too hands off when it comes to project work. Have had situations where I was questioned in meetings in front of the client about our work.

      Pros

      Collegiate atmosphere among the junior ranks means everyone pulls together to make important project deadlines. The senior management are starting to listen employees who are upset at the lack of opportunities in the areas where we want to work rather than forcing projects upon individuals because that is what they want. There are some managers and partners who are excellent, spend the time with you necessary to help you learn and succeed. These people will engage you and you will expand your knowledge and expertise at a rate that is second to none in the consulting industry. These partners are also in high demand!

      Cons

      If you end up working for a manager/partner who has a differnt working style than what suits you then you will end up in trouble. The manager on a project has control over you life so what they say goes.
