Good exposure to consulting, good base to start your career, below par salary
Pros
Since the company is a market-leader in pharmaceutical and healthcare consulting, you gain in-depth insight into a specific type of consulting. There are some really knowledgeable people to work with and your role in your project progresses quite swiftly. You get to learn a lot about how consulting sector works from senior management.
Cons
Biggest con is their pay. Their compensation is below par. There hasn't been a market correction in the pay for the past 3-4 years. The work hours are erratic. There would be times, you would be working 60-70 hours a week instead of the standard 40. And, there would be times, you would have only 30 hours of actual work. No pay is paid for the overtime by employees. They are diluting their talent pool by recruiting from tier 2, tier 3 colleges for the associate roles. This lowers the quality and the colleagues around you are not as bright as they used to be.
