Pros

1) Above average compensation and good perks - Cab,Food and Internet Allowance 2) Plans good events and go out at regular intervals; Booze is also served in office parties 3) Flexible in time- you can come at 11 o'clock

Cons

1) One of the worst work-life balance; Pharma is not a good vertical to work in 2) Rigid Hierarchy - Managers/Cs/ACs call out the shots on everything and don't listen to what Associates have to say 3)Very slow growth-It takes forever to get promoted to next level even though you are taking up all next level responsibilities 4) Not the place for lateral hires- They never consider previous work experience; If HR says they do then they are lying 5) Bad work culture - People take credit for other people's work to get promoted 6)Not safe for Female Employees-Multiple incidents have happened where male employees have harassed female employees ; To handle these cases ZS just fires the perpetrator 7) Lack of growth Opportunities - Limited Onsite opportunities and even if you go on CIG , you will be paid less compared to US counterparts for same work 8) Employees interest is not taken into consideration while assigning projects at all 9) Firm Contribution- It doesn't matter whether you are adding value to the client project as long as you are involved in office level activities 10) Firing Culture- Employees who are struggling are asked to leave in the first months itself without giving them a chance to perform 11) Offshore and Onshore divide- There is no equal distribution of work and if something goes wrong then it is always offshore's fault. Onshore is just expected to present offshore's work and nothing else 12) Mini-Bus company- ZS hires in big numbers and is not so much interested about maintaining quality; Exclusivity factor is long gone as earlier they used to hire from top IITs

Great benefits, many cons

Pros

Great benefits, fun office outings, incredibly smart colleagues, lots of learning opportunities.

Cons

Training is poor unless you're in the consulting track; there is little room for new 'best practices' or varying workstyles. Too much obsession with the 'ZS Way' without examining whether that's truly the best way. Little career / business unit development unless you are within the consulting track. Non-client facing titles/ business units get shafted often, and are not included in events, trainings, etc. that could lead to better career development.

Pros

You might get a chance to work with some very talented, skilled and hardworking people. That's It.

Cons

Long working hours. No work life balance. Most of the there is only operational work and not consulting. Very little value of the domain and work outside ZS. So it becomes really difficult to switch
