Pros

1. Good work-life balance 2. Decent benefits. 3.You can practically see how unprofessional and Technically incompetent Managers and Team leaders can destroy the team's confidence.

Cons

ZF India says that it is product based company but it acts as service based organization. Some manages at ZF-TCI treat the employees like slaves to German counter parts. As a famous statement that "Employees Leave Managers, not Companies". This statement exactly fits to ZF India ( TCI). Most of the Managers and Team Leads here, lack professionalism and incompetent for their roles. Most of the team leaders are unsecured and they will blame the team members for the failures instead of supporting them during the tough times. Worst thing is we will never get proper response from HR Team(we may receive response after sending multiple remainder e-mails to HR Team). After spending three years working here, I lost my confidence and coding ability. During my tenure instead of gaining technical knowledge I lost touch to my technical and coding skills which I had when I joined this place. Promotions criteria is not transparent(Some people will get double promotion). Partiality in promotions. Not sure on what bases they will initiate promotions. ZF-TCI looks at quantity of resources but not at quality. They fail to retain good talent. They are paying anything to the new joiners but they don't take a single step to stop the people who are really working hard for the success of company.

Pros

You can practically see how unprofessional managers and team leaders can destroy the team's confidence.

Cons

ZF India looks at quantity but not at quality. Micro management is to its core at all levels. Lack of standard process is observed from end to end from on boarding to exit. ZF global standards are never applied here. Not sure if ZF Global is aware of this. Generally we consider German based companies are known for its standards, but ZF India is quite opposite to it. Not sure if the ZF global standards are taken in to consideration here. ZF India says that it is product based company but it acts as service based organization. As a famous statement that "Employees Leave Managers, not Companies". This statement exactly fits to ZF India ( TCI). Most of the managers, employees here, lack professionalism. Management should make sure that professionalism is maintained across all departments. Conduct some basic training's for the employees (mainly Managers & Team leaders) who lack professionalism on organizational behavioral skills. Managers who got recruited recently are unaware of the process and are not sure what are the team requirements. Without knowing and considering the actual situation, they take the tasks and gives the deadline for the delivery without giving proper insights to the team. They don't even dare to say anything contradictory to the global team, which a manager should do before agreeing on the project delivery date. Team members are always under tremendous pressure. But thanks to the senior teammates who are there always to support. They (seniors) would understand the situation and the requirements of the team members and they will guide the team. But the fact is they are the most under rated people by the managers. But without them the project won't move forward. Team members concerns and suggestions are never taken in to consideration. Managers never motivates the team instead they demotivated them. Most of the team leaders are unsecured and they will blame the team members for the failures instead of supporting them during the tough times. When I joined this organization I was a positive ,happy and enthusiastic person, ready to face challenges and boost my career. After spending three years working here, I lacked confidence and doubted myself if I was good at anything. During my tenure instead of gaining technical knowledge I lost touch to my the then technical skill which I had when I joined this place. Appraisal criteria is not transparent. Rating would be given upon the manager's mood while rating the employees but not on the KPI's which were assigned and attained. This could be because that the KPI's were never communicated properly to the team members by their Managers.

Pros

1. Work with latest technologies, if you are in ADAS you will get to learn so many things, but at the cost of work life balance. 2. Benefits- Best in industry, free food, free travel, flexi basket to save tax, good salary for new joiners, 35 leaves, 10 holiday, 3 relocation leaves, team dinners, health insurance, term insurance and list goes on. 3. If you are Hyderabadi then it's a retirement destination I would say for you. 4. Good team collaboration. 5. Very good hikes if you are good performer, at least in my case there was no partially.

Cons

1. It's WF Hyderabad policy, despite of many lives were being lost due to covid, you are asked to work from Hyderabad, though you don't have hardware dependency. 2. HR team hard to get the replies from. 3. Long working hours. 4. They fail to retain good talent. They are paying anything to the new joiners but they don't take a single step to stop the people who are really working hard for the success of company. 5. Very negligible onsite opportunities
