Great place to start your career. I would not advise spending too much time there.
Pros
Great place to become familiar with the automotive industry business/government relations! Solid benefits at a low cost to the employee. Modifications to the building and office furniture have made it much nicer. Yazaki is great at assembling wire harnesses for major manufacturers.
Cons
Financial issues and over leveraging led to three consecutive years of downsizing. It had created an environment where employees have to take on three or more roles while recently receiving a decrease in pay. It was really great for years, but had issues profiting. Recently it started to turn things around and improve, but instead of targeting toxic assets and poor investment, it targeted the workforce. Over 30% of the positions have been cut during this period and some of them had to be refilled because they were not properly researched.
