Pros

Great pay. Shift schedules for operators can't be beat. 4x10 shift for most day staff means a 3 day weekend every week. Opportunity to work from home for some people.

Cons

Part of a larger organization that can lead to bureaucracy. Belle Plaine, a production facility, currently reports into a Commercial selling function, so our issues are often misunderstood.

Typical Norwegian MNC - emphasis on work-life-harmony, wellbeing and inclusiveness. Senior Managements are empathetic. Great benefits such as holiday allowances, fitness subsidies, free medical, dental/optical coverages, and a generous number of annual leaves. Pandemic proof industry.

Cons

Not the most competitive in terms of compensation but there are always companies that pay more.
