      Great purpose and vision (feed the world and protect the planet) Highly international, but with a Norwegian domiciled HQ and subsequent culture Good opportunities for top talent across a range of functions, sub industries, and management levels

      Cons

      Ideally have to know Norwegian to truly excel at head office (but less so then other Norwegian domiciled semi-state owned companies) Sensitive to industry macro fluctuations (ie global fertilizer and raw material prices), with cost disadvantage on current production portfolio compared to other players

      Pros

      Yara EBS is a great workplace that values a strong corporate culture. The environment is highly structured, with clear procedures and defined steps, which supports consistency and efficiency. It’s a truly international and inclusive company, offering good benefits and a wide range of activities. A solid choice for those who appreciate organization and diversity in the workplace.

      Cons

      However, it can feel a bit too corporate at times. Driving change is often difficult due to rigid structures and a lack of clarity around reporting lines. Some leadership was not particularly strong and communication about the actual performance of local offices or the real business challenges was limited. Most internal communication remains very high-level, with little transparency or opportunity for influence at the ground level.
