Pros

Excellent benefits and 401k match, but that is very standard in today's world. Company Truck Expenses Paid Excellent Product Mix and Brand Recognition

Cons

Little to no training. Pay is below industry standard. Company culture is stagnant. ZERO accountability for issues related to specific departments. Company is very slow to adapt to change. Management does not take issues seriously even when they ask for feedback. Little to no room for growth with out changing departments.

Pros

SFH. Meaning Sit from home. I gave work life balance 5 stars because there was no work and just sat at home. My cons list below I do not want to apply to all of Yamaha Motor as I feel it was just the team I was on.

Cons

This group holds the work tight and if you are not in with the group you will do absolutely nothing. Some people may be okay getting a paycheck to do nothing. That was not me. In my 14 years this had to be the worst experience I have ever came across. Manager constantly talks about all the people on the team and not in a good way. This network is a complete nightmare and all over the place. It looks like over time there were tons of people working on it and everyone was doing there own thing with no direction or planning. If you bring issues to there attention they get upset about it and take it personal instead of wanting to figure out a plan to get them fixed. The people on the team have been there a long time and do not like to be showed new or better ways. They just want to continue doing things there way and there way only. There have also been talks of outsourcing IT according to the manager for the Network Team. Not sure how accurate this is.
