Pros

If you're a bootlicker, you might become the next manager.

Cons

If you're a techie looking for a place to grow and thrive, this is NOT the company for you. Here’s why: Fake Reviews: Most positive reviews are written by HRs and managers who contribute nothing valuable. Incompetent Leadership: The backend (Java) team is led by someone with a PHP background who doesn’t even know PHP well, let alone Java. Android, Frontend (React), and Testing teams are managed by an Android guy who started at Xiaomi—completely out of his depth. Across the board, tech departments are led by people with little to no understanding of the tech stacks they’re managing. No Process, No Structure: The data team doesn’t even write their own queries—they rely on developers to do it for them. Managers’ only real skill is pleasing HQ in China, offering zero technical or leadership capability. The frontend lead’s approach to development? “Once testers write test cases, we’ll do TDD based on that.” 🤦 False Promises: They claim to be working on microservices, but they don’t even know the basics of it. You’ll be expected to work on any tech stack because, in their words, “you’re a developer, not a specialist.” No Learning Opportunities: Managers are incapable of resolving technical challenges. Even freshers are left to fend for themselves. Tedious Workload: Most tasks involve maintaining outdated, messy code with restricted access. You’ll face unrealistic deadlines passed down from HQ, which managers follow blindly. The office culture is so toxic that frustrated engineers openly mock their managers in chats, with nicknames like CC: Chaman Chu...@ and cc: Chota Chu...@. All tech department managers never say no to their HQ manager (Hanya); this is the only way for them to save their jobs. Initially, the Indian tech team was managed by an Indian manager, and the conditions were far better than they are now. If you are capable of being a good spy for Hanya, you will be the next manager.
