Pros

- Good working hours. - Colleagues at the lowest level were generally friendly. - Pension is generous and some benefits are useful.

Cons

As background, I worked at Worldpay for six years. I had several managers over several teams and gained a large amount of knowledge both about the company and the systems used within. - Managers form clicks. If they don't like you then you won't get anywhere. - Toxic environment at the Gateshead office due to managers and dept heads. - Often talked down to by management. - Taking the initiative is often stamped out. Then your ideas are stolen by management. - Often there are teams that could manage themselves, but are instead micro managed and constrained. - Worldpay offers no bonus. - In 2022 I received a 2% payrise. In 2023, payrises are off the table entirely. - After negotiating a payrise I was offered nothing. - Little to no progression opportunities despite showing willingness.
