Avoid at all cost

Pros

Not really demanding, good 9 to 5

Cons

Middle management has no understanding of the industry nor technology. Exec management is ok but disconnected... Worldline is not a product company and will never be, technology is out dated and nothing is done to fix it. Competition has much better internal platform to levy. Technical debt is so high and pushing a product oriented approach together with devops model on top will never work.

Pros

- Good entry salary - Correct package in line with market, even slightly above

Cons

- Salary locked-in, you can't get any increase unless you have a job proposal from another company. - ABSOLUTLY NO work/life balance; people do 10-11h/day and are glorified for that. If you do less, you can't even finish your assignments. - Everyone is shouting at everyone. - "no" is not an acceptable answer, it will trigger immediately an escalation. - middle management completly transparent and unsupportive. will blame you at first occasion. - No long term vision on sourcing: they are currently laying off 8% workforce after trying to hire 5000 people in 2022 - "support function" such as HR, sourcing, procurement, finance, ... are not there to support you. You are there to follow their process. Especially if you are a manager, your job is to "fill in excel sheets and forms" - according to current headlines there is a "significant" interest in voluntary leaves after layoff announcement - translation : people want to leave that company
