Pros

- Stable and timely salary payment. - Pension for staff on fixed-term assignments - Decent medical insurance plan for staff on fixed-term assignments. - Quite multicultural/diverse environment.

Cons

- Remuneration of national staff is not adequate for the workload and level of pressure. - Inability to protect staff from individuals, who are hostile, aggressive and intimidating only because they are in a higher position and/or have a fixed-term contract. - Promoting of staff who use their status to personal advantage, harming the interests of the organisation. - Double standards in treating international and national staff. - Many more, but I will stop here...
