Respect the principles of professionalism, integrity and diversity. Expected to strictly follow set procedures.

Cons

Bureaucratic. Approval of documents takes too much time, often causing frustrations not just within but also to partners. Lack of business mindset. Cost-ineffective projects.

Get to work for a great cause. Feel like you are making a difference.

Resistance to new ideas and change. Lots of great staff are on continual 11-month contracts with little opportunity to move to more permanent positions.
