Pros

The WFP operates a considerable number of its projects by itself, rather than contracting local NGOs to do all the work. Going out to the field and meeting the end beneficiaries was my favorite part of the work.

Cons

Just as it is in any other IOs, small country offices are always understaffed and lack an organized system to carry out its activites.
