Pros

Yohave ample opportunities for travel and the work is typically interesting and moderately challenging. While hours can be long at times, there's down time around the holidays and over the summer that make up for it. Good vacation time

Cons

there no clear career track for junior staff. You really need to stick around for many many years to get a staff position or you need a PhD.

Pros

Feels like a mini UN. Great opportunities for growth. Everyone is so smart and capable. Amazing cafeteria. Helping the world to be a better place.

Cons

Too much bureaucracy! Takes a long time to get the job. Interview process is so slow and painful. Took me one year to get the job.
