Pros

World Bank is an okay place to have a career in development, but only if you are hired as staff, they have full time consultant and full time staff contract currently. Consultant contract is not for someone who wants to build their career in the organization

Cons

The World Bank is currently doing a major internal reform, which makes uncertainty quite high especially since they no longer offer an open ended contract.
