Pros

Some of the Health benefits are actually quite good. Compensation was OK. Some (a minority) of the management are actually quite good.

Cons

Toxic, political work environment. The sort of work environment which gives Indian outsourcers the reputation of being sweat shops. Expect to work long hours. Bullying is rampant. There is no respect for your personal time and space or personal life. You are expected to be available on a 24/7/365 basis. Managers lack maturity and are bullies. Respect for the individual is non existent. Their values only exist on paper.

Pros

Not very much. Received very poor training (web based) and once I made the mistake of mentioning this directly to Wipro, they systematically made things more and more difficult for me within the workplace.

Cons

Was offered a 4 yr contract with Wipro @$24 per hr, 10 days into the contract I was informed the raise I received was "in error" & was forced to sign a new contract or lose my job. As well Wipro forced me to work @ 2 sites (I originally supported 150 people & afterwards I was supporting 550) but Wipro didn't think this was necessary to mention this to me before I signed my contract. Subsequently I was harassed by upper management which caused my stress levels to go thru the roof and shortly after this fiasco occurred I had a heart attack. While in the hospital Wipro made light of my health situation & I have now been informed that they have let me go. Please people do your research on this company (don't just take my word for it) & don't allow a under cutting company such as this get a foothold within the North American market. In all honesty if I had the $$$ I'd sue the pants off these deceivers for how they have damaged my health-wise & financially.
