      Beware of "bait and switch"

      Pros

      Great name recognition within the IT and BPO industry. Model corporation within India with a proud and interesting history. Some technology is at the forefront.

      Cons

      Very siloed. Staff are not likely to perform as a team, but rather seek to protect their territory. Very difficult to get things accomplished. Also, the company tends to hire for one position and then slot the employee into another, e.g., half of my start group of senior managers did not last a year with Wipro. Beware of this "bait and switch".

      This is a very good organization to work on. You will have a fast growth in this org and you can obtain fruitful results from here.

      Cons

      This is a good as well as a bad organization. Individual talent is not much considered and no growth will be there.

      1. No need to worry about the project deadlines. 2. Work to impress management. 3. No one will pesture you to complete the work. 4. Onsites if your lucky.

      Cons

      1. Salary is very less when compared to other companies. 2. No work competence. 3. No internet, chatting. 4. You should be in the office for atleast 8.5 hours.
