Being one of the oldest it has a established brand name. You will be easily able to balance your personal and professional life. Advertise your work and yourself in the company and your career will fly. Good for in-compeent employees

Cons

Pay is lesser in compared to competitiors PCs are very slow. Takes minutes for projects to build Some employees are not competent. HR Department is almost non - existent Net access is highly restricted One of the longest (official) working hours.

There are some good projects. But it is your luck to get assigned to it. There are opportunities to improve your technical skills.

a) Appraisal process is a bloody joke. b) Growth is based on how much you wag your tail with the PM, not just on ability c) Too much politics d) Good opportunities are based on luck and whether PM likes you or not c) Bad salary

If you are quality you can survive with some jargons. Other than people in higher management to others there is no reson to continue here. There is no reason for a good professional to continue here

Cons

Not professional. No direction. Lot of politics and hierarchy. Not good for anybody who is having high values and ethics. Now sice they are getting lot of this sort of negative reviews the higher management is having a better stratergy, that is to take all the freshers and sack the seniors. Freshers will be happy in the initial few years. Once they know the difference between what they preach and do - wipro will sack them saying that they are botton 10 (another strategy)
