Good place to learn new technologies Good onsite opportunities for every individual moving from one division to another within the organisation

Cons

unfair HR policies Middle management is very bad no room for growth in spite of good work low pay compared to the market

Pros

Overseas managers seemed to truly care about the happiness of the US domestics. In a company that had taken a beating from the 2008 economy, Wipro swooped in and saved the day.

Cons

After the initial savior swoop, the US management team was tasked with culling the excess and the remaining result was grossly overworked. Most split within a few months.

Pros

- Large company - need not fear recession even if you are a little above average. - Good place for progression if you are not technically inclined and don't mind project mgmt stream. - Good social initiatives which you can participate - Good onsite opportunities if you have the requisite skills.

Cons

- Not very good at identifying 'asset' employees and 'liability' employees. - No investment in developing resource abilities. Just want them billed everyday of the year - In many teams staying late is the norm.
