Contract Employers Bully an Otherwise Cool Company

As a whole, the work was very monotonous, we were discouraged from and/or reprimanded for conversing with coworkers. Many of the issues I experienced were directly related to the contractual nature of my employment, even though mine was a long-term (minimum three years) contract. The company to which my division was contracted threatened almost daily to pull the plug and put us all out of a job. This even though employees regularly exceeded throughput objects by 150-300%. Projects changed without warning and without instruction or guidelines to work with. On top of this, there was significant turnover and management seemed to have very little say in how the contract employer treated Welocalize employees.

The managers always try to improve their working process and give us good benefits.

Cons

I was a full time employee for Welocalize but work on-site for the client. The client is very demanding and has a lot of regulations for on-site vendors(contracts).
