Company Needs to do Better

Pros

Remote job that pays on time,

Cons

You can sit around all day waiting on work. You may spend 8 hours to only work one. What is presented as a good opportunity such as being asked to join a new group (mine was factuality) to then be tested on tasks you do not do anymore that your job is dependent on passing. Did not receive quality reports or feedback for over 5 months. They do not have a support program in place at all for their employees. New training is occasionally overed but then contradicts your prior training. Told we were going to be receiving training and instead were given an exam that could lead to termination. According to message boards an average of 85% of takers failed the test. They did not allow you to work for over a week before you found out if you passed or failed. No communication during the process. Some failed but were reinstated while others who scored higher were fired. Don't walk run from this company. There is zero stability. It sounds like the new guidelines for keeping your job have changed and you will live week to week wondering if this week will be the time you are fired without any explanation other than you have not held to their standard of quality. That standard will be unknown to you because they change it regularly.

Easy Work

Pros

The work is easy and you can do it from anywhere, since it is all remote. It is also all computer work, so you do not need to talk to customers over the phone.

Cons

You can only work when tasks are available, it is not necessarily on your own time. The management is also not great, as it always feels like your job is on the line.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, work from home

Cons

•The only paid training is minimal, and if more training is needed, prepare to do it on your own time/dime. •Interactions with management will leave you feeling like you are inconveniencing them. •Intermittent work/lack of available work •The company can/will suddenly lock you out of work pending "review." This could last more than a week in some cases, and may cost you your position. •Pending said "review," employees may be removed from the program with little explanation. •The company hires too many employees which makes available work... less available. all the while employees are still required to meet minimum requirements. •The company is very impersonal and makes employees feel easily replaceable.
