I really enjoyed my time with Welocalize, I felt like my trainers and managers genuinly cared about me, felt respected and working for a very big company enabled me to enjoy some of their perks too. My colleagues were lovely, but like always, some things could be improved.

Cons

The downsides for me were two: 1- Within the company I was assigned to - we felt very excluded being external employees. We had a different badge, we weren't allowed some pretty basic things, and we were told by our management that we're not really allowed to enjoy the facility once we finish our assigned work. Meaning, no time to enjoy it at all really. It was frwoned upon when we remained just a bit later to enjoy some perks. 2- Sadly, working part time I wanted to work more hours and couldn't get any. I would have also wanted to get more responsibilities, more meetings, just MORE to do, being hard working and passionate. There wasn't a lot of flexibility with neither of these 2 issues.

Pros

Great place for the ones starting a career in the translation industry. It offers you the chance to understand how things work, to develop useful skills, to work with a variety of tools, to grow, to work with people from all around the world. Great benefits package and flexible schedule.

Cons

Sometimes the workload can be too high, but this can be sorted out if discussed with your manager.
